A silicone workmat is essential for working with thermoplastics - the heat-resistant surface helps prevent damage to the workspace underneath while allowing you to quickly and easily lift your heated thermoplastic without it sticking and tearing.
This small mat works great for resting a hot glue gun, working on small projects, protecting areas on larger projects when you are heating an adjacent area, or even acting as an oven glove.
Also an excellent surface for painting, and gluing projects - dried adhesive and pigments either peel off or easily wash away with soap and water.
Please Note: To keep your workmat in top condition do NOT cut on top of it with a blade. This is NOT a self-healing mat - any cuts or slices will remain on the surface.
We also do NOT recommend mixing, or working with silicones on top of this mat since cured silicone will be hard and/or impossible to remove without damaging the surface.
